Eduardo Schiaffino
Eduardo Schiaffino (born March 20, 1858 in Buenos Aires , † May 1, 1935 there ) was an Argentine painter. Schiaffino founded the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Museum of Fine Arts) in Buenos Aires on December 25, 1898 .
In 1884 Schiaffino was traveling in Europe for the Argentine magazine El Diario and published numerous articles. He used his pseudonym "Zig Zag" for this. In 1933, two years before his death, he published his book Painting and Sculpture in Argentina .
