Career

Pita started his career at FC Santos , where he played from 1977 to 1984. In 1985 he switched to São Paulo FC . He contributed to winning the Campeonato Brasileiro in 1986 . He then played for Racing Strasbourg (1988-1989), Guarani FC (1989-1990), Fujita Industries (1991-1992), Nagoya Grampus Eight (1993) and AA Internacional (Limeira) (1994). In 1994 he ended his playing career.

National team

In 1980, Pita made her debut for the Brazilian national soccer team . He has played a total of seven caps for Brazil.
