Edvin Landsem (born February 27, 1925 in Rindal ; † August 31, 2004 in Rindal) was a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Landsem, who started for the Idrettslaget Troll from Rindal, finished 22nd over 18 km and 12th over 50 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lake Placid in 1950 . At the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 , he came seventh over 50 km. In the same year he came in second place in the 50 km run at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival . Two years later he ran at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun on 26th place over 15 km, 17th place over 30 km and fifth place over 50 km. When he last participated in the Olympics in 1956 in Cortina d'Ampezzo , he came in 15th place over 50 km. At the Norwegian championships he won over 50 km in 1951. In addition, he achieved second (1950) and twice third place (1951, 1954) over 30 km, second (1954) and third place (1955) over 50 km and third place with the relay (1961 ).
