Edward F. Albee Foundation, Inc. is a US foundation that awards art prizes .

The American writer Edward Albee (* 1928), known to a large audience through the play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? founded the Edward F. Albee Foundation, Inc. in 1967 and is now director of the foundation.

The William Flanagan Memorial Creative Persons Center , better known as the Barn, is the seat of the foundation. In the barn in Montauk , Long Island , New York , visual artists , composers and writers have the opportunity to work undisturbed and to exchange ideas.

Talent and need are the criteria that must be met in order to be considered for the Artist in Residence program . All artists and writers can apply.
