Edward Luckhaus
Edward Luckhaus ( Edward Gustaw Adolf Luckhaus, later Eduard Luckhaus; born August 31, 1910 in Hluchiw , † May 12, 1975 in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm ) was a German - Polish triple jumper .
Starting for Poland, he finished fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Turin in 1934 and sixth at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.
He set his personal best of 15.21 m on June 14, 1936 in Bialystok .
After the Second World War , he settled in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , where he worked as a sports teacher and painter .
