Edward Tomaszewicz
Edward Tomaszewicz (lit.Edvard Tomaševič; born January 20, 1952 , in Dėdoniškių ( Polish Dziedaniszki ), district of Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
In 1979 he graduated from the Diploma in Agronomy at the Department of Agriculture in Leningrad . From 1970 to 1971 he worked in the kolkhoz near Vilnius . From 1971 to 1973 he served in the Soviet Army. From 1974 to 1977 he worked as a chief agronomist, from 1977 to 1978 as deputy chairman and from 1978 to 1990 as chairman of the collective farm. From 1990 to 1992 he was a deputy at the Seimas . From 1992 he worked as director of Žemės ūkio bendrovė in Mickūnai . From 1995 to 1997 and from 2003 to 2007 he was a member of the council of the Vilnius district council.
