Edwin G. Conklin Medal

The Edwin G. Conklin Medal is the highest honor awarded by the Society for Developmental Biology (SDB) based in Bethesda , Maryland in the United States . It is awarded for “outstanding and sustained” research in the field of developmental biology and is named after Edwin Grant Conklin (1863–1952), an American biologist who is considered one of the founders of developmental biology.

The winners receive a commemorative medal and give a lecture at the annual SDB conference.
