Edy Wallimann
Edy Wallimann (* 1946 ) is a musician and composer from Central Switzerland . His musical focus is the Landler . He is also familiar with classical music and brass music.
At the age of 11 he took clarinet lessons . He learned to play on his instruments saxophone , recorder , piano and double bass in self-study. Among his stations were his work as a clarinet teacher, the Neunermusik , the Nidwalden Orchestra Association , the Alpnach Music Society and the Obwaldnergruess Ländlerkapelle . He gained fame through his Ländlerkapelle with Clemens Gerig. Around 120 of his own compositions were created in his musical work.
