Ländlerkapelle
Ländlerkapelle is the collective term for the music bands in Switzerland , which are largely dedicated to traditional Ländler music . In the course of the 20th century the following standard line-ups emerged:
- Concertante Central Switzerland style: clarinet , soprano saxophone or alto saxophone ; Accordion , piano , double bass . This occupation is used throughout Switzerland with the exception of the cantons of Graubünden and Ticino .
- Bündnerstil: 2 or 3 clarinets; 2 or 3 accordions or Schwyzerörgeli ; 1 double bass. This occupation is widespread in addition to the canton of Graubünden in the canton of Bern , in the canton of Basel-Landschaft and in Welschland . In Upper Valais, this type of music is often accompanied by a dulcimer .
- Appenzell style : violin , dulcimer, cello , accordion, double bass
