The Egeby Rösen ( Danish Egeby røser ), south of Egeby ( German  "Eichenort" ) on Bornholm , are in the middle of farmland, with access from Ølenevej, in Denmark's largest protected Rösenfeld ( Danish røsegravfelt ) . 90 round and eight ship-shaped loops ( Danish skibsformede røser ) were found here, the latter are sometimes difficult to see in the vegetation.

The stone roos are burial mounds that were built in Denmark and Scandinavia from the Early Bronze Age to the Viking Age , but particularly often from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age (1100–300 BC) . Roots were raised or piled up over cremations in stone boxes or urns . Most of the grids are round, but there are also square and ship-shaped ones.

The discovery of a stone bowl in one of the ship-shaped roasts revealed its likely age. It was created around the same time as the most recent rock carvings with depictions of ships , at the transition between the Late Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age (700-300 BC)
