The Eggberg is a mountain near Bad Säckingen in Baden-Württemberg ( Germany ). On the Eggberg lies the Eggberg basin , the upper basin of the Bad Säckingen cavern power station (pumped storage power station), and the Eggberg transmitter , a TV transmission system for Südwestrundfunk that uses a 68-meter-high freestanding steel lattice tower as an antenna carrier . The historic Eggbergrennen takes place annually on the Eggberg, where classic cars compete against each other.
