Egglas green

Egglasgrün belongs to the municipality of Neualbenreuth in the Upper Palatinate district of Tirschenreuth . The hamlet with three farms is located at the foot of the more than 700 meter high Heidelberg southwest of Neualbenreuth. The place should have originated between 1180 and 1200. The first time it was called in 1224 as "Ecchlersgrün". In 1325 "Eckleinsgrün", as it was called at the time, had six courtyards, eight half-courtyards, a hostel and the Techleb mill. From 1560 the place had only three properties.
