Egon Bohle

Egon Bohle (born October 16, 1881 in Padberg , Westphalia, † after 1945) was a German manager.

Life

Bohle completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and then joined the Helios electricity company in Cologne. A short time later, he moved to the Cologne public utilities (GEW) as a department head , where he became director and in 1945 general director and assistant to the city of Cologne for gas, electricity and water supply. After the end of the Second World War he led the reconstruction of the urban infrastructure including the urban railways.

He was head of the North Rhine-Westphalia regional group of the Association of German Gas and Water Works, head of the North Rhine-Westphalia regional group of the Association of German Electricity Companies, member of the board of the Association of German Gas and Water Works and the Association of German Electricity Companies.
