Since its transfer from Ehingen to the headquarters of the Hungarian Institute in Munich (UIM) in Regensburg in June 2017, the EB has been named "Special Collection of Hungarian Literature in German Language" (ULDS) as part of the UIM library from the Hungaricum - Hungarian Institute of the University Regensburg (HUI).

It includes Hungarian literature in German . The tasks of the Ehingen library also include the literary processing and evaluation of the works and their authors, but also the organization of literary events and the presentation of literature in the form of public exhibitions. The project already started in Ehingen to give scholarship holders the opportunity to work in the library for their own research for a few weeks will be continued in Regensburg.
