Imre Török

Imre Török (born February 3, 1949 in Eger / Hungary ) is a German writer .

life and work

Imre Török came to Germany from Hungary as a young refugee. At first he lived in Lübeck and attended the Katharineum there . After graduating from high school, he studied German, history and philosophy in Tübingen , with Ernst Bloch , among others .

Török primarily writes stories and novels, as well as radio plays, fairy tales and philosophical and factual texts. In addition, he works as a ›lecturer for creativity‹ in adult education and volunteers to help refugees. He was head of the Sindelfingen municipal theater and worked as a ghostwriter and journalist.
