The badge of honor for membership in the people's solidarity was an award of the people's solidarity of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), which was donated in three stages, bronze , silver and gold .

The award in bronze took place after 10 years of membership, in silver after 20 years and in gold after 30 years of membership in the people's solidarity. The oval bronze, silver-plated or gold-plated badge consists of a closed laurel wreath at the bottom end of which is a tape with the inscription: 10 YEARS , 20 YEARS or 30 YEARS . The symbol of popular solidarity can be seen in the center of the badge. The back of the badge is smooth and shows a vertically soldered needle with a counter-hook.
