Extensive natural monument oak and acacia grove in the Paulusviertel Darmstadt
The oak and acacia forest (also: rock forest ) is a natural monument in Darmstadt-Bessungen . It was placed under nature protection in 1938.
The approx. 0.9 ha large oak and acacia forest with its geological outcrop consisting of granodiorite rocks belongs to the State of Hesse . The protection ground is the preservation of the geological outcrop and the preservation of the oak grove as a green corridor in the densely populated Darmstadt-Bessungen.
