A single always comes alone (original title: The Single Guy ) is an American sitcom that was produced from 1995 to 1997 and consists of 44 episodes in 2 seasons. In Germany , the series ran for the first time in 2000 on RTL , and later on Comedy Central .

The series is about the single writer Jonathan, who is looking for his great love. His friends support him and organize a blind date for him. However, the woman turns out to be totally uncomfortable.
The End
Due to the slot between the high-rated sitcoms Friends and Seinfeld , the series reached 6th place in the Nielsen ratings in its first season . After the airtime was postponed, however, the series lost popularity and was canceled after two seasons.
