Joey Slotnick (born October 2, 1968 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor .

Life

Slotnick grew up in Chicago and as a teenager moved to Las Vegas , Nevada , where he made his first experiences as an actor in a children's theater company ( The Rainbow Company ). He later studied at Southern Methodist University in Dallas , Texas , from which he also graduated.

After returning to Chicago, he honed his acting skills with an engagement at the Lookingglass Theater , where he appeared with his friend David Schwimmer . This is where the director Penny Marshall noticed him, who signed him for the film A Class of Their Own. In addition to his film roles, he was also often seen as an actor in television series, for example in Ellen , Nip / Tuck and Beverly Hills, 90210 . Slotnick was also a member of the improvisation group Slotnick, Katz and Lehr .
