A Swedish classic
" A Swedish classic " ( Swedish. En svensk classic ) is the name given to the combination of four large long-distance sports competitions.
The four competitions are in detail:
- Cross-country skiing : Wasalauf ( Vasaloppet ) in the main run or in the open class ( Öppet Spår ) over 90 km each or alternatively the Engelbrektslauf ( Engelbrektsloppet ) over 60 km
- Cycling : Vätternrundan ( Vätternrundan ) over 300 km
- Swimming : Vansbro swim 3 km
- Cross Country : Lidingölauf ( Lidingöloppet ) over 30 km
The mastery of all four routes within twelve months is rewarded with the "classic diploma".
