Einar Karlsson (born August 1, 1909 , † October 23, 1967 ) was a Swedish football player .

Career

Karlsson played for Gårda BK at its most successful time in the 1930s and 1940s in the Fotbollsallsvenskan . He played there alongside players such as the national players Henock Abrahamsson , Gunnar Gren and Harry Johansson . 1938 achieved the best result in the club's history with fifth place in the first division. The player was called up to the Swedish national team for the first time in 1935 , but only played sporadically. With her, the striker took part in the 1938 World Cup, but was not used during the tournament. He played a total of three international matches.

Nothing is currently known about Karlsson's further life.
