Einbert-Jan Langevoort

Einbert-Jan Langevoort (born February 27, 1929 in Voorburg , Netherlands ; † December 26, 1992 ) was a Dutch Protestant theologian and pastor.

Langevoort completed his vicariate in Berlin after studying theology and was parish priest in Düsseldorf-Heerdt from 1957 to 1991 . His book Diary of a Theological Guest Worker deals with his time in Düsseldorf . Via one of his predecessors in office, he began the work Gottfried Hötzel - one man and one voice . However, since he died shortly before completion, his former congregation took over the publication of the book. He was also particularly involved in the Christian-Jewish dialogue. Langevoort had been part of the leadership group of the "Young Christian Peace Conference " since September 1960 .
