Reinhard Scheerer

Reinhard Scheerer (born October 8, 1953 in Hamburg ) is a German Protestant theologian and author.

Life

After gaining university graduated Scheerer at the Free University (FU) of Berlin , a study of Protestant theology , Jewish Studies and Journalism . He also became a doctor of philosophy in the subject Protestant theology doctorate . Given the choice: participation in the Christian Peace Conference (CFK) or church service, he decided to work in the CFK. He worked as a lecturer for modern church history at the Free University of Northern Germany based in Seevetal .

Scheerer had been a member of the West Berlin regional committee of the Christian Peace Conference since 1974 , as its spokesman since the 1980s. In 1988 he participated in the preparation of the 30th anniversary of the Czechoslovak CFK. He worked at the VI. All-Christian Peace Assembly in their committee to continue work. From 1993 to 1995 he moderated three conferences of the European Continental Association of CFRP on the history of CFRP.

From 1996 to 2003 Scheerer was a member of mission 21 (formerly Basler Mission ) at the request of the Presbyterian Church in Sudan (PCOS) professor of theology and philosophy at the Nile Theological College in Khartoum .

Scheerer has been working as a psychological consultant and alternative practitioner for psychotherapy since 2007.
