Railway Officials Aid Association
The Railway Officials Aid Association (EBH) was established in 1920 as a self-help institution of the colleges of the former Reichsbahndirektion Oldenburg / Oldb. founded. When the Reichsbahnkrankenvorsorge (RKV), the forerunner of today's health care for federal railway officials (KVB), came into being in 1926 , EBH assumed the status of a residual cost insurance . Since the RKV insured persons (as well as the KVB members today ( 2005 )) had tangible residual costs, it continued to prove to be a useful facility. With around 8,000 insured persons, she finally joined Central Krankenversicherung AG, Cologne , in 1938 . Today the EBH not only insures civil servants, but also employees and workers insofar as they have to contribute to the medical costs according to the Health Reform Act 1998.
