The Iron Cross is a war memorial on the Obernaundorf corridor in the town of Rabenau in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district .

The Iron Cross is located on a rock on the "Schulbuschhang" above the Freital district of Hainsberg . It is located near the border between the two cities on a property owned by the Sachsenforst state enterprise. The 17 meter high and 2.5 ton heavy iron cross was erected in 1934 for the Hainsberg victims of the First World War . A viewing platform extends around the cross, which can be reached from Hainsberg and offers a view of the village.

Since it was erected, the monument has only been poorly maintained, and major restoration measures are not planned. After repairs in 2003, the cultural monument was further secured in 2012–2013.
