Ice writing

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ice-writing is a jargon term in human resources or in recruiting for a letter that a potential employer sends to qualified applicants as part of an application process if there is no vacant position in the company, but a fundamental interest in a cooperation is to be expressed.

Application documents usually remain with the company. The aim of the ice-writing can therefore be to hold applicants for the company until a suitable position is available.

Companies send the similarly content, also very rarely so-called aperitif letter , to inform them about the progress of an application process that has not yet been completed.
