Ice rink Benrath

The Benrath ice rink is one of two ice rinks in the city of Düsseldorf.

The ice rink is located at Paulsmühlenstraße 6 in the Benrath district of Düsseldorf . The hall was opened in 1979; it was a gift from Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. The ice rink foundation is responsible for the ice rink Düsseldorf-Benrath.

There have been plans since 2017 to demolish the ice rink and replace it with a new building. The construction of a new ice rink on Kappeler Strasse has already been initiated. The old Benrath ice rink should remain in place until the new hall can be put into operation.
