Eitel Friedrich , also Eitelfriedrich , is a German male given name . It also occurs in the forms Eitel Fritz and Eitelfritz .

It was used mainly in the Hohenzollern family (German noble family / dynasty of high and primeval nobility ).

meaning

The part of the name "Eitel" means "only", "Eitel Friedrich" means "Friedrich without a second name". Despite this meaning, the name was sometimes combined with a long range of other given names.
