Eitelsbach (Trier)

The place Eitelsbach on the water of the same name as well as on the Ruwer was an independent municipality in what was then the district of Trier , Rhineland-Palatinate , until 1969 .

It was first mentioned in a document in 1238.

In 1931 the winegrowing community belonged to the Ruwer district and had 345 inhabitants. The total area was 200.08 hectares.

In 1969 Eitelsbach came together with the town of Ruwer to the city of Trier, since 1974 Trier-Ruwer / Eitelsbach has formed a district in Trier.

The Duisburgerhof and the Karthäuserhof belong to Eitelsbach .

The Eitelsbacher road runs through the village, it is part of the county Straße 15 .
