El Popola Ĉinio

El Popola Ĉinio ("From People's China "; Chinese  中国 报道 , Pinyin Zhōngguó bàodào ) is an Esperanto magazine from China that has been published since 1950 .

The publishing house of the magazine belongs to the Foreign Language Office of China and apart from El Popola Ĉinio also published books in Esperanto. From 1952 to 1953 it was mainly novels and volumes of poetry that had already been published in the magazine; from 1957 to 1965 major works appeared, including Ĉina Antologio 1949-1959 (Chinese anthology, 1940-1959), translations of the novels by Lu Xun and political writings such as the works of Mao Zedong . The editorial staff of El Popola Ĉinio worked together with the publishing house for foreign-language literature . The most famous translator of the magazine was Laŭlum . Today she is involved in the Ĉina Interreta Informa Centro (Chinese Internet Information Center).
