Electrik Red is an American R & B - girl group , which was founded in 2005 and of the four members Kyndra Reevey , Lesley Lewis , Naomi Allen and Sarah Rosete is. The band became known through their debut album How to be a Lady: Volume 1 , which sold 5000 times in the first week. The band members come from different parts of the United States , but the band was formed in Los Angeles .
Band history
The two members Kyndra Reevey and Lesley Lewis had known each other since childhood and began their careers as background dancers for Usher . Reevey and Lewis asked Rosete if she wanted to join the band, but Rosete only confirmed the offer on the condition that she met her best friend Naomi Allen. Lewis and Reevey were impressed and agreed to the request. The band went to Los Angeles to start out as a dance group. They danced in videos by Akon , Chris Brown and Mariah Carey , among others . They later also started producing music and released their debut album How to be a Lady: Volume 1 . The international successes failed to materialize, but the band was able to place itself at number 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 . The debut single So Good, starring Lil Wayne , peaked at number 60 on the Billboard R&B / Hip-Hop charts.
