The elephant building ( English Elephant Building or Elephant Tower ; Thai ตึก ช้าง , RTGS Tuek Chang ) is a 102 meter high building in the district of Chatuchak in the north of the Thai capital Bangkok . It has 32 floors, was completed in 1997 and resembles an elephant in shape. The design comes from Ong-ard Satrabhandhu . It consists of three individual towers, which are connected by the upper floors. Two of the three towers house offices, and the third tower houses apartments.

The building has been named one of the ugliest skyscrapers in the world in Architectural Digest magazine .
