Qualified electrician for defined activities

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The qualified electrician for specified activities ( EFKffT ) is a person with a certified additional qualification in a sub-area of electrical engineering. For the "defined activity", additional training in the electrical engineering field must exist and have been successfully completed by the person (examination in theory and practice). The training criteria are described in the employer's liability insurance association principles (BGG) . The trained person is then an electrical engineering specialist for precisely the area trained.

Characteristics of the "defined activity"

The specified activity is limited to certain, firmly defined tasks that are specified in writing by the employer as work instructions. It has to be a routine task that occurs regularly in the practice of the actual job. For example, a journeyman carpenter who sets up kitchens for a customer's kitchen studio can connect the electrical appliances himself after appropriate additional training, instead of an (additionally present) electrician.

"Similar, repetitive electrical engineering work on equipment that is specified by the employer in work instructions."

- BGG 944

Such additional training is only available for (switched off) low-voltage systems (up to 1000V ~ / 1500V =).

Corresponding training courses are primarily offered to people who have already completed technical training, preferably in an adjacent area.
