Elena Nathanael

Elena Nathanael ( Greek Έλενα Ναθαναήλ ; born January 19, 1947 in Athens ; † March 4, 2008 there ) was a Greek actress .

biography

Elena Nathanael studied at the Theater School of Pelos Katselis and made her film debut in 1963 in the film Kati na kaiei (Something Hot) by Giannis Dalianidis. Shortly afterwards she moved to Germany and starred in Rolf Thiele's film Wälsungenblut , a film adaptation of the novel by Thomas Mann of the same name . She soon moved back to Greece and appeared in several major productions until the mid-1970s. In the last years of her life she lived in seclusion outside Athens on a farm with her husband Tasos Mitropoulos and their only daughter Inca; however, between 1998 and 2007 she was seen five times in new productions on the screen or on screen.

Elena Nathanael died in March 2008 of complications from lung cancer.
