Elena Oana Antonescu (born December 30, 1979 in Târgovişte ) is a Romanian politician ( PD-L ).

Live and act

Antonescu studied law and private law at the Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest , then completed a master's degree in Public Policy and European Integration at the National School for Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest and studied international relations and Euro-Atlantic studies at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute. Eventually she attended the Institute for European Studies at the University of Birmingham .

Antonescu, who joined PD-L in 2001, initially worked as a trainee lawyer and in a law firm, was an advisor to the state control authority and the Prime Minister's office, and an advisor to the European Parliament , where she was a member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2014. Antonescu was a member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety , of the delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee and of the delegation to the EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly .
