Elfriede Strobel

Elfriede Strobel (born May 3, 1948 in Vienna ) is an Austrian employee and politician ( SPÖ ) at rest. She was a member of the Vienna state parliament and municipal council as well as deputy district leader in Brigittenau .

education and profession

Elfriede Strobel finished school in 1966 with the Matura . She then worked in the private sector for 26 years. From 1992 to 2004 she was employed by the SPÖ Vienna.

Political career

After Elfriede Strobel had been involved in social democracy since her youth, she subsequently worked as a works councilor and in Brigittenau district politics. From 1999 to 2004 she held the position of deputy district mayor. From March 3, 2004, Strobel represented Brigittenau as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council , on December 31, 2006, she resigned her mandate and retired.

Private

Strobel is married and has two sons. According to her own statements, reading, cycling and mountain hiking are among her hobbies.
