Elisabeth Amort

Elisabeth Amort (born February 18, 1924 in Berchtesgaden ) is a German author.

After attending elementary school and secondary school in Berchtesgaden, Amort trained as a secretary at the Munich commercial school and the Leipzig foreign language school. The Reich Labor Service and the subsequent military service with service obligations during the Second World War interrupted her professional career.

After the end of the war, she took private acting lessons and, after passing her final exams, went on theater tours in Germany and South West Africa. Later she wrote reports, interviews and stories as a freelance journalist for the Berchtesgadener Anzeiger . She published stories and fairy tales in various newspapers and on several radio stations.
