Sambang (spelling variant: Sambang Fula Kunda , Sambang Mandika ; name variant: Niggi ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 932 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 795.
geography
Sambang is in the Central River Region in the Niamina West District and is located on the left bank of the Gambia River . The place is about ten kilometers from the South Bank Road .
The district administration " Niamina West Constituency " is located at this location. The Sambang Upper Basic School was built in 1997 and expanded in 2007.
