Elisabeth Conrady

Elisabeth Conrady (born January 11, 1937 in Klein Giesen ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1998 to 2003 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Conrady attended elementary school in Langenhagen and then a commercial school in neighboring Duderstadt . From 1953 to 1959 she worked in a craft business as an accountant. She then worked for Bosch in Hildesheim from 1960 to 1994 . There she was a works councilor from 1974 and as such was released from work from 1984 until she entered early retirement in 1994.

Conrady belonged to the SPD from 1985. From 1991 she was on the council of the city of Hildesheim and from 1996 she was the city's first mayor. In the 1998 state election she was elected to the state parliament through a direct mandate in constituency 31 Hildesheim, to which she belonged until 2003.
