Elisabeth Mayer (born October 14, 1988 in St. Johann in Tirol ) is an Austrian biathlete .

Elisabeth Mayer lives and trains in St. Johann. She starts for the local SK St. Johann and is trained by Franz Berger Junior . She started biathlon in 2003 and has been a member of the national team in her country since 2004. Mayer made her international debut at the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2005 in Kontiolahti , where she was 30th of the individual, 31st of the sprint, 34th of the pursuit and with Iris Waldhuber and Anna Hufnagl 12th of the relay competition. In 2006 she finished 19th in the individual, 24th in the sprint, and tenth in the pursuit at Presque Isle . With Waldhuber and Hufnagl, she also surprisingly won the relay race and acted as the final runner. In 2007 , Mayer took part in the Junior World Championships for the third and last time in Martell , where she finished eleven in the individual, 23rd in the sprint, 16 in the pursuit and five in the relay race with Hufnagl and Christina Gruber.

Nationally, Mayer was particularly successful with the Tyrolean relay at the Austrian Championships . In 2004 she won the title for the first time alongside Nicole Pfluger and Julia Kröll . In 2005 the trio came second behind the representation of Styria. In 2006 with Martina Feichtner and in 2007 with Simone Posch , replacing Julia Kröll, she won the titles again.
