Elisabeth Rechlin

Elisabeth Rechlin (born March 24, 1930 in Bochum ) is a former German swimmer .

Rechlin worked for Blau-Weiß Bochum during her active time . She swam at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki for the German women's selection in the 100 meter freestyle discipline and was able to qualify in the first round with third place for the semifinals, but then could not take part in the finals because she was eliminated in eighth place. She also took part in the relay swim over four hundred meters and was able to move into the finals. Elisabeth Rechlin was married to the national water polo player Wilfried Bode .
