Elisabeth Rygård

Elisabeth Rygård (born September 1, 1946 ) is a Danish film director and screenwriter .

She studied Danish and Film Studies at the University of Copenhagen . She graduated as cand. Mag. from. She has been working as a director since 1974. For the movie, take it like a man, madame! (1975, Ta 'det som en mand, frue) she joined forces with Mette Knudsen and Li Vilstrup to form the collective “Rote Sister”. She is the President of the Association of Danish Directors.
