Elisabeth Schmidt (politician, 1974)

Elisabeth Schmidt (born on January 16, 1974 in Vienna as Elisabeth Ullmann ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). She has been a member of her party to the Vienna State Parliament and City Council since November 2015 .

Life

After successfully completing her Matura, Elisabeth Schmidt attended a university course in public relations at the University of Vienna . The thus academically certified PR consultant initially worked at Mayr-Melnhof Karton from 1998 to 1999 . She then worked as Marketing Manager at Bang & Olufsen until 2001 . Most recently, she worked in marketing at Austrian Post from 2004 to 2006 .

In 2007 Schmidt started working for the FPÖ. Initially she was the party's press officer, and for several years she has been the presenter of FPÖ-TV , an information platform on YouTube .

From October 2010 to December 2012 she held her first political mandate, as a district councilor in the Vienna district of Donaustadt . Schmidt has been a member of the state parliament since November 2015.

Schmidt is the mother of two sons.
