Elisabeth von Brandenburg (* around 1207; † 1231 ) came from the Brandenburg branch of the Ascanians and was Landgravine of Thuringia from 1228.

She was born as the daughter of Margrave Albrecht II of Brandenburg and his wife Mathilde von Groitzsch, daughter of Count Konrad von Groitzsch from the Wettin family. Her great-grandfather was Albrecht the Bear , ancestor of the Ascanian branches in Brandenburg, Saxony, Anhalt and Weimar-Orlamünde.

In 1228 she was married to Heinrich Raspe , who later became the German rival king and from 1227 Landgrave of Thuringia. The marriage remained childless and Elisabeth died after three years at the age of around 24. Heinrich then married two more times, namely Gertrud von Babenberg and Beatrix von Brabant . These two marriages also remained childless and Heinrich's successor as Landgrave of Thuringia was the son of his sister Jutta, Heinrich III.
