Elke Velten-Tönnies

Elke Velten-Tonnies (* 23. June 1953 in Cologne as Elke Longerich ) is a German jeweler .

Life

Velten-Tönnies attended the Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule in Leverkusen from 1959 to 1967 . She has been the operator of the Bonner Goldankauf company in Bonn since 2003 as well as managing director of the Wuppertal companies Wupperauktionen (until 2003) and cash jewelers (until 2004). Before that she was managing director of VEHA Logistik & Handels GmbH based in Würzburg and Gold Velten in Mönchengladbach as well as an auctioneer.

She gained national fame through her appearances as a jewelry buyer in the ZDF series Bares for Rares , of which she has been a member of the dealer team since the sixth season of 2016.
