Ellen De Waele

Ellen De Waele (born June 1, 1973 in Sint-Niklaas ) is a Belgian film producer who was nominated for an Oscar in 2013 .

Life

In 2000 De Waele worked as the production manager of the short film 15 'zondergrond before appearing in 2004 as the film producer of the short film Carlo . In 2005 she founded the production company Serendipity Films . In addition to short films, De Waele also produces documentaries .

Nominations

Together with her colleague Tom Van Avermaet , she received an Oscar nomination in the category Best Short Film for Dood van een Schaduw ( Death of a Shadow ) in 2013 .
