Brigitte Jäger-Dabek

Brigitte Jäger-Dabek (* 1952 in Stade ) is a German writer .

Life

Brigitte Jäger-Dabek grew up in her hometown. At a young age she took part in numerous trips through Europe and the Middle East and spent the summer of 1968 as an exchange student in France . After graduating from high school, she studied Islamic and political science at the University of Hamburg . Subsequently, for family reasons, she completed an apprenticeship as a master optician in order to be able to manage the father's business.

From the mid-1970s Brigitte Jäger-Dabek made several trips to Poland , where she finally met her husband, with whom she has been married since 1984. During this time she began to publish her first travel articles about the country. Since the end of the 1990s she has concentrated entirely on writing and has been a full-time freelance journalist ever since .
