Ellgrip

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The elbow grip describes a type of grip in which the palms of the hands are turned towards the face, similar to the comb grip, so that the thumbs point outwards. The difference to the comb grip is an additional pronation of the two arms by 360 °. For anatomical reasons, the distance between the two hands in the elbow grip is normally greater than in the comb grip.

This grip is used when doing gymnastics on the horizontal bar and uneven bars .
