James Phelps
James Andrew Eric Phelps (born February 25, 1986 in Sutton Coldfield , England ) is a British actor.

He and his identical twin brother, Oliver Martyn John , were born in the town of Sutton Coldfield , part of the City of Birmingham . James is the younger of the two, he was born around 13 minutes later. They attended Little Sutton Elementary School and Arthur Terry Secondary School. They dropped out of school in 2004 with A-level exams . At an early age, both showed a particular interest in performing side by side in several school theater productions . In 2000, when they were 14 years old, they took part in the casting for the roles of twins Fred and George Weasley for the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone , which they received. James plays Fred, but the two are usually indistinguishable. Since then, they have also appeared in all the other Harry Potter films. Phelps has been married since July 23, 2016.
