Else Hoppe (also Liesl or Elisabeth, nee Meixner) was a German figure skater who started in pair skating for Czechoslovakia .
Her partner and husband was Oscar Hoppe . Together with him, she played five world championships from 1925 to 1931. They won their only medal at the World Championships in Vienna in 1927 with bronze behind the two Austrian couples Herma Szabó and Ludwig Wrede as well as Lilly Scholz and Otto Kaiser .
In their only European Championship participation , the Hoppes took seventh and last place in Vienna in 1930 .
